Workplace Law welcomes the Australian Ice Hockey League

Workplace Law is excited to be adding yet another sport to our growing and diverse sports industry client portfolio. We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) with legal advice and support across governance and constitutional matters, employment issues, tribunal/disciplinary matters, sponsorship and broadcast arrangements and competition matters.

Workplace Law is excited to be adding yet another sport to our growing and diverse sports industry client portfolio.

We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) with legal advice and support across governance and constitutional matters, employment issues, tribunal/disciplinary matters, sponsorship and broadcast arrangements and competition matters.

The AIHL is now in their 19th season and have established themselves as a truly national competition consisting of eight teams. Spread across the country, they include Adelaide Adrenaline, CBR Brave, Melbourne Ice, Melbourne Mustangs, Newcastle North Stars, Sydney Bears, Sydney Ice Dogs, and Perth Thunder. Teams feature local Australian athletes and up to 4 imports.

As the flagship league for ice hockey in Australia, the AIHL showcases 112 regular season hockey games annually from April through to September.

Workplace Law CEO Shane Koelmeyer said: “We are delighted to support another growing sport by provide legal services to the AIHL.
