Fair Work Act Amendments - Action plan for employers

Following the Federal Government’s recent passage of the Fair Work Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022, it is essential that employers are informed and prepared about the changes due to be made to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), many of which will be in place before the end of the year.

Following the Federal Government’s recent passage of the Fair Work Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2022, it is essential that employers are informed and prepared about the changes due to be made to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), many of which will be in place before the end of the year.  

In this webinar, our Managing Director and Principal, Athena Koelmeyer, will be talking about the changes which include:   

  • the end of pay secrecy;
  • limitations on the use of term contracts; and
  • the impact on enterprise bargaining.

Athena will also be discussing what employers need to do to ensure they are compliant with the changes, including putting together an action plan for updating contracts, policies and training.
