Workplace Law wins HRD 2017 Employer of Choice Awards
Workplace Law is excited to announce it has been named as an Employer of Choice in the 2017 HRD Employer of Choice Awards.
The HRD Employer of Choice Awards are given based on the results of a survey initiated by HRD magazine in conjunction with the Awards’ sponsor Maxxia. In speaking about the 2017 Awards, Ron Steiner, Group Executive Customer Relations for Maxxia, told HRD magazine:
“The HRD Employer of Choice Awards is a cut above, thanks to being based on nominations of an employer’s own employees. Receiving a nomination is an honour in itself, as it positions you alongside other outstanding organizations that have proven themselves to genuinely prioritise their staff.
Winning a commendation as significant as an HRD Employer of Choice Award is truly prestigious. It’s the ultimate affirmation that you are amongst the very best.”
Workplace Law received the following Employer of Choice Awards:
Overall Employer of Choice (1-99 employees category) – Silver Medal.
Learning and Development – Employer of Choice Top Performer.
Technology – Employer of Choice Top Performer.
In response to the awards, Director Shane Koelmeyer said:
Firstly, congratulations to all of the employers who have won awards this year. Often you only hear the negative stories when it comes to employer/employee relationships. So, it is wonderful to see so many Australian employers being positively recognised and appreciated by their own employees.
Secondly, on a personal note I am humbled and grateful that our wonderful team feels so positive about Workplace Law.
Workplace Law is built on a foundation of 10 Values that set the standard for how we do our work, how we interact with each other and our clients and the quality of our work. Our 10 Values drive the team to achieve the firm’s Mission which is to help our clients to be ‘employers of choice’ and for our firm to be a consistently successful Values based business.
To have received HRD Employer of Choice awards in different categories this year (to 2016) is wonderful as it shows that the firm is ever evolving and that we are genuinely living our Values and Mission.
We are committed to providing an environment where each employee can grow to be the best person they can be as we believe that will make the team great which in turn will make the firm great. To do that it is important that we have an environment where learning and developing are about becoming both excellent professionals and great people.
To work here, everyone must have a ‘growth mindset’ regardless of whether you are a lawyer or admin support or your level of experience – and you must want to help your teammates to learn and grow.”
