Building on the long term support of women's sport and the recent success of the FIFA Women's World Cup, we are excited to share some news about our next sporting partnership.
Read more...At the end of last season, our firm made the difficult decision to withdraw our corporate support from the game of football. The lack of unity surrounding the running of the game in Australia and the battle between various stakeholders was not something we wanted associated with our brand.
After speaking to Perth Glory’s new CEO, Tony Pignata, about the state of the game and new sponsorship opportunities we were excited by the prospect of being able to resume our support for football and professional female athletes. We are proud to have supported professional women in the legal, HR and WHS industries for over 15 years now and our past work with Tony has proven to us that he values our contribution to the women’s game and is aligned with us in terms of organisational values.
Workplace Law is passionate about supporting female footballers in their pursuit of becoming fulltime professional athletes who are able to earn a living through playing the game they love. It is important to us that the players are properly supported off the pitch to allow them to give their best effort on the pitch each week.
We are excited to join the Perth Glory W-league family and wish the coaches and players all the best for the upcoming season.
