Fremantle Dockers AFLW drafted Ange in the 2018 rookie signing period and she debuted in Round 1 against Melbourne in 2019. Ange placed in the Top 10 in best and fairest for the Dockers in 2019 and, when she returned again in 2020,placed in the Top 5.

To date, Ange’s most memorable sporting moment was in the first AFLW Derby against the West Coast Eagles in front of 33,000 people.

Ange’s professional sporting goal is to win a premiership with Fremantle in the 2021 season. Ange said she would like to continue to do her part in growing the game and to do her best to leave it in a better place for the athletes that come through.

Away from the field

When not playing or training for her AFLW team, Ange is working hard growing her own business, Ange Stannett Personal Training. Ange is passionate about helping people to live a healthy lifestyle and to feel happy about who they are on the inside and outside.

On Workplace Law's sponsorship

“I see Workplace Law’s sponsorship as an extremely exciting opportunity to learn and grow as a person,a young professional and as an athlete. The passion that Shane, Athena and the team at Workplace Law have for empowering athletes is incredible.

This sponsorship to me, symbolises a step towards a better future for female athletes across Australia. A future where we have a voice, the knowledge and the confidence to navigate our own professional lives and where we have the support and resources to truly be our best, both on and off the field."
